In this soft sweater made from delicate alpaca wool, a large through pattern is successfully combined with a dense single crochet pattern that makes up the round wide yoke. An openwork collar completes the look.
DIMENSIONS: 36-38 (42-44) 46-48
YOU WILL NEED: yarn (36% alpaca wool, 35% polyamide, 15% silk, 14% cotton; 150 m/50 g) – 450 (500) 550 g pink melange; hook number 5.
Dense pattern from st. 6/n (knitting in the round): start each row with 1 ch. lifting instead of 1st st. b/n, finish 1 connection. Art. in v.p.
End-to-end pattern (at 3 points of the initial chain): knit according to the given pattern. Start and end circular rows as shown, repeat rapport in width.
Perform in height 1 time from the 1st to the 3rd rows, then repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows.
Raglan decreases: 2 tbsp. b/n knit together, 2 tbsp. b/n before the raglan mark, 2 tbsp. b/n after the raglan mark, 2 tbsp. b/n knit together.
Knitting density: 14.5 p. initial chain x 9 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a through pattern; 14 p. x 19 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a dense pattern from st. b/n.
Attention: Since the number of loops in the main pattern varies, we advise you to make paper patterns of the parts in full size and use them as a guide when making loop decreases and increases according to the instructions. To do this, periodically apply the knitted part to the pattern.
BACK AND FRONT: connect the initial chain of 144 (156) 168 vp. and close it into a ring using 1 connection. Art. Knit in a through pattern in the round.
After 35 cm from the initial chain to separate the loops into the front and back, make a mark at the beginning and in the middle of the circular row: the back begins at a distance of 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) from the beginning of the row, ends at a distance of 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) in front of the middle label; the front starts at a distance of 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) after the middle mark and ends at a distance of 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) before the start of the row. The remaining loops form the edges of the armholes and remain untied. Leave your job temporarily.
SLEEVES: knit for each the initial chain of 30 (33) 36 vp. and close it into a ring using 1 connection. Art. Knit in a through pattern in the round. To expand along the entire length of the sleeve, make increases on both sides from the beginning of the row so that at the end the part becomes wider by 9 cm on each side from the beginning of the row (guide by the made pattern).
After 40 cm from the initial chain, leave the work temporarily.
ROUND YOKETTE: on the left back loops (= 44 (48) 52 cm) perform 62 (68) 72 sts. b/n, on the 1st sleeve on both sides of the beginning of the row, leave 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) untied, tie the remaining 32 (34) 36 cm with 46 (50) 52 sts. b/n, on the left front loops (= 44 (48) 52 cm) perform 62 (68) 72 sts. b/n, on the 2nd sleeve on both sides of the beginning of the row, leave 3 cm (= 1.5 repeats) untied, tie the remaining 32 (34) 36 cm 46 (50) 52 tbsp. b/n = 216 (236) 248 st. b/n (mark transitions from part to part = raglan lines). Close the row with 1 connection. Art.
Continue the work with a dense pattern from st. b/n. Knit in the round and for raglan bevels along the marked raglan lines, first decrease in every 3rd r. 12 (10) 10 times 2 p. and then in every 2nd r. another 5 (9) 10 times 2 p. = 80 (84) 88 st. b/n.
After 25 (26) 27 cm from the beginning of the raglan bevels, knit in a circle for an 18 cm collar with an end-to-end pattern, performing 28 (29) 30 repeats in a row. Finish the work.
ASSEMBLY: Moisten the product, stretch it to size according to the pattern and leave until dry. Sew the sleeves into the armholes on the lower sections.
