An openwork pullover with a hood is knitted with a mesh pattern from light blue cotton and silk.
Dimensions: 36/38 (40/42) 44/46.
You will need: yarn (56% cotton, 25% silk, 13% wool, 6% viscose; 150 m/50 g) - 300 (350) 400 g; knitting needles No. 3.5 and 4; hook No. 3.5.
Knitting patterns
Pattern 1 (knitting needles No. 3.5). Rib (even number of loops) = start each row and end with 1 edge stitch. Alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.
Pattern 2 (knitting needles No. 4). Mesh pattern (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 2 edge loops). Knit according to scheme. It shows facial rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the yarn overs with knit stitches, with two yarn overs in a row, knit the first yarn over with a knit yarn over, and the second yarn over with a knit yarn over. Start with 1 edge stitch and loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with loops after the repeat and 1 edge stitch.
Constantly repeat 1-8th r.
Attention. When making increases and decreases, make sure that the number of yarn overs and loops knitted together inside the pattern matches.
Knitting density: 19 p. x 23 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Description of knitting
Back. Cast on 90 (98) 106 sts on the knitting needles and knit 5 cm for the bottom bar with pattern 1, starting with 1 purl row. Continue working with pattern 2.
After 48 cm = 110 rub. from the bottom bar, close on both sides for shoulder bevels 1 x 5 (5) 6 p., then in every 2nd r. close 3 x 5 p. (3 x 6 p.) 1 x 6 p. and 2 x 7 p.
After 51.5 cm = 118 rub. from the bottom bar close the remaining 50 (52) 54 sts, with the middle 40 sts forming the neckline, the outer 5 (6) 7 sts each forming the shoulders.
Before. Knit like a back, but for a deeper neckline after 45.5 cm = 104 r. from the bottom bar, set aside the first 50 (54) 58 sts and continue knitting on the next 40 (44) 48 sts the right half of the front (when worn), while in the 1st r. cast on another 10 stitches along the inner edge for the allowance and knit on all 50 (54) 58 stitches with pattern 2. At the same time, make a shoulder bevel along the left edge, as on the back.
After 51.5 cm = 118 rub. from the bottom bar, close the last 5 (6) 7 stitches of the shoulders for the hood along the left edge, then cast on another 21 stitches and include 2 = 46 stitches in the pattern.
After 22.5 cm = 52 r. from the beginning of knitting the hood, close to round the hood along the left edge 1 x 1 p., then in every 2nd r. 8 x 1 p.
After 30.5 cm = 70 rub. from the beginning of knitting the hood, set aside the remaining 37 sts. Put the set aside 50 (54) 58 sts of the left half of the front into the work and perform the left half of the front in the same way as the right half of the front, but in a mirror image.
Sleeves. Cast on 36 (40) 44 sts on the knitting needles for each sleeve and knit for a 5 cm placket with pattern 1, start with 1 purl row and evenly add 10 sts in the last purl row = 46 (50) 54 sts. Continue working pattern 2. At the same time add on both sides for bevels in every 4th r. from the bar 11 (12) 13 p. acc. pattern = 68 (74) 80 p. After 42.5 cm = 98 r. close all loops from the bar.
Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. Sew an allowance to the front from the wrong side. Fold both parts of the hood with the right sides so that both knitting needles with 37 stitches laid aside lie parallel, and continue working as follows: knit together the first loop from the front knitting needle and the first loop from the back knitting needle, * the next loop from the front knitting needle and the next loop From the back knitting needle, knit together the front one, then on the right knitting needle, pull the last loop through the penultimate one (= 1 stitch is closed), from * repeat until all the loops are closed. Sew the back seam of the hood (on the pattern from icon A to icon B) and sew the hood (on the pattern from icon B to icon C) into the neckline. Crochet the edge of the hood and neck with 1 circle. R. Art. b/n.
Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
