DESCRIPTION OF WORK
BACK AND SHELVES
The back and front panels are knitted in a single fabric: cast on 179 sts on the knitting needles and for the bottom panel knit 3-5 cm with a 1x1 elastic band. Continue working with an openwork pattern, distributing the loops as follows: 1 cr.p., 6 p. straps (elastic band 1x1), 167 p. openwork pattern (openwork track 4 p. + 7 repeats of 23 p.), 6 p. stripes ( elastic band 1x1), 1 cr. P.
ATTENTION!
The whole knitted strip of the shelves is knitted in short rows (approximately every 5-6 rows). After 50 cm from the start of knitting, begin decreasing to bevel the neck of the shelves. In total, you need to evenly decrease 11 stitches on each side (26 cm/11 stitches = 2.4 cm (i.e., make decreases every 2.4 cm). Make decreases only in an openwork pattern.
Knit the loops of the strap without changes. After 52.5 cm from the beginning of knitting, divide the fabric and knit the back and fronts separately. The openwork pattern of the back accounts for 81 sts + 2 cr. sts. On the shelves - 40 p. openwork pattern + 6 p. placket + 2 cr.p. At a total height of 76 cm, close the loops: back - 83 p.; shelves - 30 p. Leave the loops of the slats uncovered.
SLEEVES
Cast on 36 stitches for each sleeve and knit 3-5 cm for the placket with a 1x1 elastic band. In the last purl row, evenly add 16 sts = 52 sts. Continue working with the openwork pattern: 4 sts of the openwork track + 2 repeats of the openwork pattern. At the same time, add 11 sts on both sides to bevel the sleeves (38.5 cm/11 sts. = 3.5 cm, i.e. increase every 3.5 cm). After 41.5 cm from the beginning of knitting, close all loops = 74 sts.
ASSEMBLY
Sew shoulder seams. Knit the set aside loops of the shelf neck strips to a height of 11.5 cm. Connect with a knitted seam and sew the strip into the back neck. Sew in the sleeves. Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
