PATTERNS AND DIAGRAMS
RUBBER
4 knit stitches, 3 purl loops, 2 knit loops, 3 purl loops = repeat these 12 loops constantly. Distribute the loops for the plank pattern as described in the instructions.
LACERY PATTERN
Knit according to the pattern. Distribute the loops according to the instructions. Double arrows indicate rapport by 14 sts. Knit the 1st and 2nd rows once in height, then constantly repeat the 3rd–6th rows.
KNITTING DENSITY
18 p. x 21 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern (knitting needles No. 5).
ATTENTION!
This openwork pattern has a lot of stretch, so be sure to knit a swatch in tight gauge.
The numbers on the knitting density sample and the measurements on the patterns were taken from the model laid out on the surface.
With all increases and decreases to give the model a shape, make sure that the number of yarn overs and openwork pattern loops knitted together on the outer repeats coincides. The exception is the 1st row of the openwork pattern after the bar. If the yarn over falls directly on the edge, in the next purl row, knit it with a knit stitch.
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
BACK
Cast on 74 (78) 82 stitches on knitting needles and for the placket pattern, distribute the stitches between the edge stitches as follows: 2 knit, 3 purl, 2 knit, 3 purl, 5 x 12 rib stitches, finish with 2 knit stitches (6 x 12 rib stitches, knit 4) purl 2, 6 x 12 rib stitches, finish: knit 4, purl 2; while 4 front slats lie in the middle of the backrest.
After 8.5 cm = 18 r. strips, distribute the loops for the openwork pattern between the edges as follows: 6 sts from arrow a, repeat repeat 5 times for 12 sts = 60 sts, 6 sts to arrow b (8 sts from arrow c, repeat repeat 5 times = 60 p., 8 p. to arrow d) 10 p. from arrow e, repeat repeat 5 times = 60 p., 10 p. to arrow f.
Attention!
The “braid” in each rapport is located above the track of 4 front planks! Please note: due to yarn overs in the 1st row. the number of loops of the openwork pattern increases to 86 (90) 94 p.
After 30 (28) 26 cm = 62 (58) 54 r. close from the bar on both sides for armholes 1 x 3 p., then in every 2nd r. close 2 x 2 p. and 4 x 1 p. = 64 (68) 72 p.
After 16 (18) 21 cm = 34 (38) 44 r. from the beginning of the armhole, close the middle 36 stitches for the neckline and finish the left side first.
To round the neck along the inner edge, close every 2nd r. 2 x 3 p. = 8 (10) 12 p. In the next 2nd p. close the loops.
Finish the other side symmetrically.
BEFORE
Knit like a back, but for a deeper neckline after 12.5 (14.5) 16.5 cm = 26 (30) 34 r. from the beginning of the armholes close the middle 26 sts and to round the neckline along the inner edge close in every 2nd r. 2 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p. and 3 x 1 p. = 8 (10) 12 p.
In the next 2nd r. close the loops.
SLEEVES
Cast on 48 (56) 62 stitches on the knitting needles for each sleeve and for the placket pattern, distribute the loops between the edge stitches as follows: 1 knit, 3 purl, 2 knit, 3 purl, 3 x 12 elastic stitches, 1 knit (1 purl, 4 x 12 p. elastic, finish: 4 knit, 1 purl) 1 knit, 3 purl, 4 x 12 p. elastic, 4 knit, 3 purl, 1 knit.
Knit 8.5 cm strips = 18 r., then distribute the loops for the openwork pattern between the edges as follows: 5 sts from arrow g, repeat repeat 3 times for 12 sts, 5 sts to arrow h (9 sts from arrows i, repeat rapport 3 times on 12 sts, 9 sts to arrow j) repeat rapport 5 times on 12 sts.
Attention!
Due to yarn overs in the 1st row. the number of loops of the openwork pattern increases to 56 (64) 72 p.
For bevels, add every 14th r. 5 x 1 p. = 66 (74) 82 p.
Include the added loops in the pattern. At the same time, make sure that the yarn overs and loops knitted together on the outer repeats match and that the crossings of the 4 knit stitches are performed only if these loops are present.
After 37 (36) 35 cm = 78 (76) 74 r. from the bar, close the sleeves on both sides for 3 stitches, then in every 2nd row. close 1 x 2 p., 11 x 1 p., 1 x 2 p. and 1 x 3 p. (2 x 2 p., 11 x 1 p., 1 x 3 p., 1 x 4 p.) 2 x 2 p., 11 x 1 p., 1 x 2 p., 1 x 3 p. and 1 x 4 p.
In the next 2nd r. close off the remaining 22 (24) 26 sts.
