Jumper Puno Due.
Dimensions
There are calculations for sizes 42/44 (46/48-50/52).
Data for size 46/48 are given in parentheses before the dash, for size 50/52 - after the dash. If only one value is specified, it applies to all sizes.
Judging by the size table below, the sizes above are Russian (otherwise there will be no oversize effect).
You will need: 300 (350-400) g color 06 (the one in the photo) Punto yarn
Due (63% cotton, 37% alpaca wool, 210 m/50 g) from Lana Grossa; straight knitting needles No. 4 and No. 4.5, short circular knitting needles No. 4.
Yarn Puno Due from Lana Grossa, color 06 (nougat/black-brown)
The yarn is created from two components: 63% cotton and 37% alpaca, has a thickness of 210 m/50 g. It looks like a thin braided brown cord filled with black fluff. I saw this effect in “Rural Motif” from Pekhorka, but much less fluff was added, it was more like an additive accompanying the yarn, but not as an accomplice in the design...
Knitting patterns and techniques
Elastic band: alternately knit 1, purl 1.
“Lattice pattern”: see diagram. It is compiled on the basis of a text description.
Both knit and purl rows are indicated. The loops in the diagram are indicated as you see them on the canvas during operation.
The pattern repeat consists of two loops and eight rows (marked in green).
Knitting density 22 p. and 40 r. “Lattice pattern” with knitting needles No. 4.5 = 10 x 10 cm.
Description of knitting
Back
On needles No. 4, cast on 124 (132-140) sts and knit 5 cm with an elastic band. Then
knit with needles No. 4.5 in a lattice pattern.
After 21 (19-17) cm from the elastic, add on both sides for lowered shoulders in every 4th row 18 x 1 (20 x 1 - 22 x 1) p. Include the added loops in the “lattice pattern” = 160 (172- 184) p.
After 40 cm from the elastic band, close on both sides for a shoulder bevel in every 2nd r. 16 x 3 (14 x 3 – 8 x 3) p. and 2 x 2 (4 x 4 – 10 x 4) p. At the same time, 7 cm from the beginning of the shoulder bevel, close the middle 44 p. for the neckline and finish both sides separately , at the same time, from the side of the neckline, close off another 6 x 1 sts in each row.
Before
Knit like a back, but after 1 cm from the beginning of the shoulder bevel, close the middle 30 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately, while from the side of the neckline close in every 2nd r. another 3 x 2 and 7 x 1 p.
Sleeves
On needles No. 4, cast on 44 (52-60) stitches and knit 5 cm with an elastic band. Then knit with needles No. 4.5 in a lattice pattern. For bevels, add on both sides every 6th r. 22 x 1 p. Include added loops in lattice pattern = 88 (96-104) p.
After 33 cm from the elastic, close all the loops.
Pockets
On knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 28 (30-32) sts and knit 8 (8.5-9) cm in a lattice pattern. Then, using knitting needles No. 4, knit 2 cm with an elastic band and bind off all the loops.
Assembly
Sew the pockets onto the front above the bottom placket and at a distance of 22 cm between the pockets, as discreetly as possible.
Sew shoulder seams.
Using circular needles No. 4, cast on 118 stitches along the neckline and knit 8.5 cm with an elastic band in circular rows. Then close all the loops.
Fold the tape in half inward and sew it on.
Sew sleeve seams and side seams. Sew in sleeves.
