Costume – Peacock feather

Performance

 The model is crocheted according to pattern 4.

Separately, 2 fragments are made - “feathers” according to the description for the skirt.

Make a full, life-size pattern.

Yoke.

 Make 2 “feathers” 48 and 44 cm long, tie them with bright green, blue, bright yellow thread according to pattern 4 and sew them together

Then tie a purple thread around both feathers from the front side. Mark the finished yoke on the pattern.

Main detail.

On a VP chain 90 cm long, knit the bottom of the top in the round with dark green yarn according to pattern 4, 12 cm high.

 Then knit the back and the part of the front, highlighted in green, in straight and reverse rows according to the pattern.

Assembly.

 Sew the yoke to the main piece with a blind stitch.

 Tie the armholes on the back side with green thread, first sc, and then according to pattern 4.

Tie the bottom edge with bright yellow and purple thread according to pattern 4

 In order for each wedge to be curved, when tying on one side, it is necessary to slightly tighten the fabric, reducing the number of posts, and on the other hand, increase the number of posts so that this side is convex.

SKIRT

 Size 48 – 50

Materials: 100 g each of blue, bright green, dark green, bright yellow, 50 g of purple cotton yarn “Iris” “Gamma” in 2 folds and 100 g of melange silk yarn with lurex.

 Hook: No. 3.

Performance.

 The model is crocheted with 8 separate wedges of different lengths, sewn together.

For each wedge, a feather is separately tied, and when tying from the inside of the wedge, this “feather” is connected to the wedge.

Start knitting from the center of the “feather”

 To do this, knit 9 C1H on the VP chain with a purple thread and knit further according to pattern 1, changing the color of the thread in each row

Having completed 8 central elements, tie each of 8 expanding wedges of different lengths (70 - 90 cm) with melange silk thread in pattern 2.

 To do this, first knit 6 - 9 rows of 2 C1H, then similarly, 3 C1H, until the required wedge length.

Then, using a purple thread according to scheme 3, tie arcs from 3 VPs around the inner part of the wedge (in the direction of the arrow) and connect the central element with the same arcs to the wedge of the round part.

Tie the finished wedge sequentially with bright green, blue, dark green, bright yellow and purple yarn according to pattern 4.

Assembly

Sew the finished wedges with a hidden seam, placing them in increments

 Tie the top of the skirt with green thread, first sc, and then dc.

 Stretch a rubber band between them.

When tying a wedge, do the last row of purple in an incomplete row so that the color does not repeat when sewing.

Jacket

Tie the “feather” according to pattern 5.

Knit the second piece in a mirror image,

Mark the finished yoke on the pattern.

Back and front.

On a VP chain 96 cm long, knit the bottom of the jacket with dark green yarn according to pattern 4 with a height of 27 cm,

 Then leave 6 cm for the armholes and knit the back and front part separately according to the pattern, highlighted in green,

Sleeve.

Knit the sleeve according to the pattern with dark green yarn according to pattern 4, tie the bottom edge with blue, bright yellow and purple thread according to the pattern, expanding the frill by adding stitches.

Assembly.

 Sew two parts of the yoke to the back of the main part along the shoulder seams and tie them together with the neck 1 row of bright green, 2 rows: blue, bright yellow and purple thread according to pattern 4, similarly tie the sides and bottom edge.
