Crocheted squares of different sizes are sewn into a completely straight fabric, which is then tied on knitting needles with a regular elastic band. It's simple, but so effective!
SIZE 42–46
YOU WILL NEED
Yarn (70% alpaca, 30% polyamide; 225 m/50 g) – 350 g of gray section dyeing and 50 g each of emerald, green and orange; hook No. 6; circular knitting needles No. 6.

PATTERNS AND DIAGRAMS
SQUARE 1 AND 2
Make a chain of 4 vp. and close into a ring using 1 connection. Art. Knit according to knitting pattern 1 or 2, respectively, in circular rows.
Start each circular row with the given number of vp. and finish 1 connection. Art. Perform the given circular rows 1 time, observing the sequence of colors.
SQUARE 3
Knit as squares 1 and 2, but acc. scheme 3.
Perform the 1st–10th circular rows once, while starting from the 7th circular row, complete the circular rows by analogy.
COLOR SEQUENCE, SQUARE 1
1st circular row with decorative thread,
2nd circular row with gray thread.
COLOR SEQUENCE, SQUARE 2
1st + 2nd circular rows with decorative thread,
3-5th circular rows with gray thread.
COLOR SEQUENCE, SQUARE 3
1st–3rd circular rows with decorative thread,
4–10th circular rows with gray thread.
RUBBER
Alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.
KNITTING DENSITY
Square 1 = 6 x 6 cm;
square 2 = 12 x 12 cm;
square 3 = 24 x 24 cm;
12th circle R. main pattern = 10 cm.
PATTERN
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
Using crochet hook No. 6, perform square 1 76 times, 20 times each with decorative orange and gray thread and 18 times each with decorative green and emerald thread.
Perform square 2 17 times, 7 times with decorative gray thread, 5 times with decorative emerald thread, 3 times with decorative green thread and 2 times with decorative orange thread.
Perform square 3 9 times, 4 times with decorative orange thread, 2 times with decorative emerald and green thread and 1 time with decorative gray thread.
ASSEMBLY
Combine the squares according to pattern and sew so that the seams are flat.
For the slats, using gray thread, cast on 250 stitches on the knitting needles along the sides of the shelves and the edge of the neckline (110 loops along the sides of the shelves, 30 loops along the edge of the back neckline) and knit with an elastic band. With a bar width of 3.5 cm, knit 1 more row with double thread, while at the same time loosely closing the loops according to the pattern.
For the sleeves, using gray thread, cast on the knitting needles along the middle 6 squares of the side edges, respectively, 54 loops and knit with an elastic band. After 24 cm, knit 1 more row with a double thread, while simultaneously closing the loops according to the pattern.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
