The elastic is knitted in the round from bottom to top, then in turning rows to the armhole, then the front and back are sewn separately, and the shoulders are sewn together. The sleeves are knitted separately.
Required:
Mohair yarn on silk 500-600m/100g per thread – 150g;
Mohair on silk 800-900m/100g in 2 threads – 200/225g;
Knitting needles No. 6 for the main fabric, knitting needles 3.5 for elastic bands, (lines 40 and 80 cm for knitting the body and knitting using the magic loop method);
additional thread, fishing line or pins (for undercut loops);
markers.
Dimensions:
SM, 42-44 (gauge up to 92cm).
ML, 46-48 (OG 93 – 100cm).
Dimensions of the finished product, provided it falls within the specified density, see
Density of knitting the sample in stockinette stitch.
We strive for 15 stitches × 16 stitches = 10 × 10 cm after WTO, stockinette stitch, needles No. 6. For the elastic, the density is 21p. × 23p in an unstretched position. Considering that the density and characteristics of knitting are different for everyone, the size of the knitting needles is selected individually, it is important to hit the specified density.
Patterns, abbreviations and explanations:
Facial surface.
When knitting in the round, knit all rows (L).
When rotating knitting, the front side is the front loops (L).
wrong side – purl loops (I).
Edge loop - by default, we remove the first loop without knitting, we knit the last loop purl.
Elastic band 1*1 Knitted by alternating 1 knit stitch and 1 purl stitch.
Beginning of row marker (MNR).
Decrease of two knit stitches with a slant to the left (2Llev): We knit 2 knit stitches together behind the back wall.
Decrease of two knit stitches with a slant to the right (2Lright): we knit 2 knit stitches together behind the front wall.
Blouse body.
On knitting needles No. 3.5 with 40cm fishing line in 2 threads, not tight, cast on 130(SM)/140(ML) loops +1 loop to complete the knitting in a circle (slip the first loop from the left knitting needle to the right one and pull the last loop through it, return loop on the left knitting needle), install the MNR.
SM/ML 1- 37 row with elastic band 1*1. Let's try it on, the elastic should be around the waist and so that it is convenient to put the finished product over your head.
Next, using knitting needles No. 6 in 1 thread, we knit the body in turning rows L, up to the undercuts, and first knit the smell (hereinafter referred to as the smell).
Distribution of loops for knitting a wrap blouse.
1st row: MNR, 16/18L, then we knit 33/34 wrap loops, knitting two from each loop, behind the front and back walls, thereby doubling the number of loops, then 16/18L, M1, 65/70L.
2nd row: MNR, 16/18L, we knit the wrap loops that were knitted behind the front wall (these loops form the outer part of the wrap) with knit stitches, while at the same time removing the loops that were knitted behind the back wall onto an additional knitting needle, we do not knit them (these loops form the inner part smell). Turn the knitting to the wrong side.
3rd row: 33/34I wrap loops, 16/18I, MNR, 65/70I back, M1, 16/18I, 33/34I with additional needles. Unfold the knitting to the front side.
The smell is formed.
Row 4-33 is knitted in stockinette stitch.
Dividing the body of the blouse into front and back.
We divide the shelves, back and undercuts according to the diagram:
First we will knit the right front, then we will attach the thread, knit the undercut loops, slip them onto a pin and proceed to the back, then we will reattach the thread, knit the undercut loops, slip them onto a pin and knit the left front.
On the knitting needles is the right front (if we look at the product it is on the left), we will knit the front in turning rows in stockinette stitch, with decreases for the armhole. We remove the loops of the back, undercuts and the second shelf with additional fishing line or thread; they are not yet involved in knitting.
1st row: 33/34 wrap loops, 14/15L (33/34 wrap loops and 14/15 side loops form a shelf, then a shelf, 47/49 loops in total).
Purl 2 row: according to the picture.
K3 row: 43/45L, not reaching the 4 loops of the end of the row we decrease 2Llev, 2L.
We make decreases in 5 knit rows SM (total 2 decreases), for size ML and in 7 knit rows (total 3 decreases). There are 45/46 stitches on the needles, we knit 36 rows in stockinette stitch.
At the end of the 31st row we hang a pin marker, this is one of the control points (when sewing the body and sleeve, the points must coincide).
Next we form the shoulder line.
37 knit row: knit 10L strips (do not close them), then 5Llev, 5Llev, 5Llev, 5Llev, 5Llev, 5Llev, 5Llev/5Llev, 4Llev, 5Llev, 4Llev, 5Llev, 4Llev, 5Llev, 4Llev simultaneously closing these 35/36 loops not tight. (shoulder width after closing 7/8cm).
We attach the thread to the 10 loops remaining on the knitting needle (from the wrong side), which will form the collar bar, we knit them with stockinette stitch for 10/11 rows. Leave a thread 30-40 cm long; we will use this thread to sew the open loops of the collar strap.
We lift 4/6 undercut loops and 61/64 back loops onto knitting needles, attach the thread, knit 4/6 undercut loops, and remove them with a pin. We knit the back in stockinette stitch, making decreases for the armholes at the beginning and end of the 3rd and 5th rows for SM, and in 3, 5, 7 for ML as follows: K, 1L, 2Lright, back loops, not reaching the 4 loops of the end of the row. decrease 2Llev, 2L.
In total we knit 36 rows, not forgetting to mark the beginning and end of 31 rows with marker pins (control points).
Next, we form the shoulders by decreasing them while closing them:
SM 3Lright, 3Lright, 3Lright, 3Lright, 3Lright, 3Lright, 2Lright, 17L, 2Llev, 3Llev, 3Llev, 3Llev, 3Llev, 3Llev, 3Llev.
ML 3Lright, 2Lright, 3Lright, 2Lright, 3Lright, 2Lright, 3Lright, 2Lright, 18L, 2Llev, 3Llev, 2Llev, 3Llev, 2Llev, 3Llev, 2Llev, 3Llev.
The width of the back at the closed hinges is 30/32 cm.
Leave about 2.5m of thread for sewing the back and front panels.
We lift the loops of the second shelf and the undercut onto a knitting needle and attach the thread, knit 4/6 of the undercut loops, remove them with a pin. We mirror-knit the left front, making decreases at the beginning and end of rows 3, 5 SM and rows 3, 5, 7 for ML.
1st row: 47/49L.
Purl 2 row: according to the picture.
3 persons row: K, 1L, 2Lright, 43/45L.
We make decreases in the 5th row (2 decreases in total), for size ML and in the 7th row (3 decreases in total). There are 45/46 stitches on the needles, we knit 36 rows in stockinette stitch.
At the beginning of the 31st row we hang a pin marker, this is one of the control points (when sewing the body and sleeve, the points must coincide).
Next we form the shoulder line.
37 knit row: we knit, simultaneously closing 5Lrights, 5Lrights, 5Lrights, 5Lrights, 5Lrights, 5Lrights, 5Lrights/4Lrights, 5Lrights, 4Lrights, 5Lrights, 4Lrights, 5Lrights, 4Lrights, 5Lrights, 10Lrights (continue to knit these 10 loops).
We knit the bar in stockinette stitch for 10/11 rows, leaving the loops open. Sew the open loops of the planks in any convenient way.
We fold the parts of the front and back with the right side inward, and sew the parts together with a loop-to-loop hook.
Sleeves.
Using knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 40/44 loops + 1 loop to complete the knitting in a circle, in 2 threads. We install the MNR, knit cuffs 1-37 rows with an elastic band 1*1. Let's try it on, the cuff should tightly frame the wrist.
Using knitting needles No. 6, we knit in a circle with the front stitch in 1 thread, in the 1st row we knit two loops from each front loop of the elastic band (we knit behind the front and back walls), and one front loop from the purl loop. There are 60/66 stitches on the needles. We knit 63 rows in stockinette stitch. Then we close 4/6 loops of undercuts.
Next we knit the sleeve in stockinette stitch in turning rows. In rows 3.5/3.5.7 we make decreases in the armhole, similar to decreases in the back. At the beginning and at the end of the 17,23/17,23,29 row we make increases from a broach or a crossed yarn over: K, 1L, +1, L sleeve loops, without knitting 2 loops to the end of the row +1, 1L, K. We knit a total 32 rows. There are 56/60 stitches on the needles.
We mark the control points of the beginning and end of the 31st row with pin markers. Next, we knit the shoulder cap, closing the loops on each side according to the diagram:
Using a needle with a double thread, we collect and tighten the shoulder cap, thereby forming a “flashlight”.
We knit the second sleeve in the same way.
Turning it inside out, sew the sleeves to the body using a loop-to-loop hook. Control markers, row loops and undercut loops must match.
We hide the ends of the threads in the seams and try them on
WTO (wet heat treatment), :
Delicate hand wash without soaking, using liquid detergents for wool items, in water 30*, without rubbing or twisting.
Rinse in water at the same temperature.
Squeeze the fabric with your palms, wrapping it in a large towel to absorb excess water.
Dry carefully by laying it on a horizontal surface, placing a cloth to absorb moisture, changing it several times and turning the product over.
Do not iron! To straighten folds and creases, use a steam generator or hang it in the bathroom for a while and open the hot water tap.
Comb and lift the pile (without pressing) with a special mohair brush or a soft hair comb.
For minor stains, you do not need to wash the product immediately; it is enough to treat the contaminated area with a brush or damp sponge, and to refresh the item, use a steamer.
Store on a shelf folded or in a special “breathable” case, not forgetting about moth repellents.
