A voluminous pattern in the form of openwork “leaves” accents the upper part of the jacket with raglan lines, as well as the lower half of the sleeves. But even ordinary stockinette stitch and ribbed stitch look lovely here thanks to the silver lurex thread connected to wool yarn.
Dimensions: 38/40 (44/46)
You will need: yarn 1 (100% wool; 150 m/50 g) – 400 (450) g white; yarn 2 (80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester; 100 m / 25 g) – 300 (325) g silver; knitting needles No. 6; circular knitting needles No. 6; 5 buttons with a diameter of 20 mm.
Attention: knit only with double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn).
Pattern 1: elastic band (odd number of loops).
Front rows: edge, alternately 1 front, 1 purl, finish 1 front, edge.
Purl rows; knit loops according to the pattern.
If there is an even number of loops between the edges, knit 1 knit and 1 purl alternately.
Pattern 2: front stitch - front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Pattern 3: pattern of “leaves” (the number of loops is a multiple of 10 + 1 + 2 edge loops) knit according to. scheme.
It shows only the facial rows; in the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the yarn overs purl.
Start with loops in front of the right arrow, constantly repeat the repeat of 10 sts between the arrows and end with loops after the left arrow.
Perform 1-22nd rows once, then constantly repeat 3-22nd rows.
Attention: the number of loops varies within the repeat in height.
All calculations are based on the original number of loops.
When performing decreases, make sure that the number of yarn overs and loops knitted together inside the row always matches.
Emphasized decreases: from the right edge of the edge, knit 2 stitches together with a tilt to the left (= 1 stitch, remove as front, 1 front, then pull it through the removed loop). From the left edge knit according to. pattern until the last 3 stitches, then knit 2 stitches together with the front and edge stitches.
Knitting density: pattern 2 with double thread – 17 p. x 24 r. = 10 x 10 cm; pattern 3 with double thread – 16 p. x 24 r. 10 x 10 cm.
Back: Using a double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 93 (103) sts on the knitting needles and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm with pattern 1.
Continue working with pattern 2.
After 28.5 cm = 68 r. from the bottom bar, close on both sides for armholes 1 x 11 p. (= 71 (81) p.) and in the next front row distribute the loops as follows: edge, 1 p. pattern 2, 67 (77) p. pattern 3, to do this, start with 3 stitches in front of the right arrow, perform 6 (7) x initial 10 stitches of repeat between the arrows and finish 4 stitches after the left arrow, 1 stitch of pattern 2, edge.
In addition, it is emphasized to subtract 1 x 1 p. on both sides for raglan bevels and in every 2nd p. 19 (24) x 1 p. = 31 p.
After 17.5 cm = 42 r. (21.5 cm = 52 rubles) from changing the pattern, close off the remaining 31 stitches for the neckline.
Left shelf: Using a double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 43 (48) sts on the knitting needles and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm with pattern 1.
Continue working with pattern 2.
After 28.5 cm = 68 p. from the bottom bar, close along the right edge for the armhole 1 x 11 p. (= 32 (37) n.) and in the next front row distribute the loops as follows: edge, 1 p. pattern 2, 29 (34) stitches of pattern 3, to do this, start with 3 stitches in front of the right arrow, perform 2 (3) x initial 10 stitches of repeat between the arrows and finish 6 (1) stitches after the left arrow, edge,
In addition, it is emphasized to decrease along the right edge for a raglan bevel 1 x 1 p. and in every 2nd p. 19 (24) x 1 p.
After 17.5 cm = 42 r. (21.5 cm = 52 rubles) from changing the pattern, close off for the neckline, leaving 12 stitches remaining.
Right shelf: knit in the same way as the left front, but in a mirror image, and distribute the loops as follows: edge stitch, 29 (34) stitches of pattern 3, to do this, start with 5 (0) stitches in front of the right arrow, perform 2 (3) x initial 10 stitches of rapport between the arrows and finish 4 stitches after the left arrow, 1 stitch of pattern 2, edge.
Sleeves: Using a double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 50 (54) sts on the knitting needles for each sleeve and knit 5 cm for the placket with pattern 1, while in the last row of the placket evenly add 23 (29) sts = 73 ( 83) p.
Continue working with pattern 3.
After 18.5 cm = 44 r. From the bar, continue working with pattern 2.
After 20.5 cm = 50 rub. from changing the pattern, close 1 x 11 p. on both sides (= 51 (61) p.) and in the next front row distribute the loops as follows: edge stitch, 1 p. of pattern 2, 47 (57) p. of pattern 3, for this start with 3 sts before the right arrow, perform 4 (5) x initial 10 sts of repeat between the arrows and finish 4 sts after the left arrow, 1 st of pattern 2, edge.
In addition, it is emphasized to subtract 1 x 1 p. on both sides for raglan bevels and in every 2nd p. 19 (24) x 1 p. = 11 p.
After 17.5 cm = 42 r. (21.5 cm = 52 r.) From the last change of pattern, close off the remaining 11 sts.
Assembly: make raglan seams.
For the strips, using double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 83 (91) sts on circular knitting needles along the sides of the shelves and knit 3 cm = 7 r. pattern 1, while in the 4th row. in the fastener bar of the right front, make 4 holes evenly for buttons (= 2 stitches knit together, 1 yarn over).
Close the loops according to the drawing.
To bind the neckline with double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 95 p. on circular knitting needles along the edge of the neckline and the ends of the front strips and knit 3 cm = 7 r. pattern 1, while 1.5 cm from the set of loops make the last hole for the button (= knit the 3rd and 4th stitches together, 1 yarn over).
Close the loops according to the drawing. Sew side seams and sleeve seams. Sew buttons.
