Materials: yarn type “Drops Karisma” (100% wool extra, 100 m/50 g) from Garnstudio: 500 – 550 – 600 – 650 -750 – 800 g natural white (color No. 01), 100 – 100 -100 – 150 – 150 – 150 g melange dark brown (color No. 56), 50 – 50 – 50 – 50 – 50 – 50 g melange beige-brown (color No. 54); stocking and circular (80 cm) knitting needles No. 4, stocking and circular (40 cm) knitting needles No. 3.
Knitting density: 21 p. and 28 r. persons satin surface = 10 x 10 cm.
Jacquard patterns: knit according to patterns 1 - 3. Patterns 2 and 3 are performed by persons. satin stitch
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Front and back
Knit in the round on circular needles.
On knitting needles No. 3, cast on 480 – 520 – 570 – 650 – 700 – 780 sts with white yarn and knit in a pattern according to pattern 1. After completing the pattern (one vertical repeat), there are 192 – 208 – 228 – 260 – 280 – 312 sts on the knitting needles Continue working with an elastic band, alternating 2 LP, 2 PI, to a height of 4 cm. At a height of 10 – 10 – 11 – 11 – 12 – 12 cm, decrease 1 stitch on each side of both markers. Repeat decreases every 3 cm, 4 times in total = 152 – 168 – 184 – 216 – 232 – 264 sts. At a height of 24 – 24 – 25 – 25 – 26 – 26 cm, add 1 st on both sides of each marker. Repeat increments every 3 cm, 4 times in total = 168 – 184 – 200 – 232 – 248 – 280 sts.
At a height of 38 – 39 – 40 – 41 – 42 – 43 cm, close the armholes with 8 – 8 – 8 – 10 – 10 – 10 stitches on each side (i.e. 4 – 4 – 4 – 5 – 5 – 5 sts on both sides of each marker) = 152 – 168 – 184 – 212 – 228 – 260 sts. Set the piece aside and knit the sleeves.
Sleeves. Knit in the round on stocking needles.
Cast on 56 – 56 – 60 – 60 – 64 – 68 sts on stocking needles No. 3 with white yarn. Knit with an elastic band, alternating 2 LP, 2 PI, 10 cm. Switch to stocking needles No. 4 and knit 1 circle. row of LP, while evenly decreasing 4 sts = 52 – 52 – 56 – 56 – 60 – 64 sts. Place the marker in the middle of the sleeve (= middle of the armhole). Carry out the pattern according to scheme 2, then continue working the faces. satin stitch with white yarn. At the same time, at a height of 14 cm, add 1 stitch on both sides of the marker. Yoke. Place the sleeve parts on the knitting needles to the main part, between the front and back parts, aligning the armhole sections = 288 – 312 – 336 – 368 – 392 – 432 sts. Place the marker in the middle of the back, knit to the marker, now start the round. row from here! Knit 1 round. row of LP on all loops, at the same time evenly decrease 0 – 6 – 12 – 8 – 14 – 18 sts = 288 – 306 – 324 – 360 – 378 – 414 sts. Knit 0 – 2 – 4 – 7 – 10 – 13th circle rows of faces. satin stitch with natural white yarn. Continue working with the pattern according to scheme 3 (= 16 – 17 – 18 – 20 – 21 – 23 repeats in a circle). When the pattern according to scheme 3 is completed, 112 - 119 - 126 - 140 - 147 - 161 stitches will remain on the knitting needles. Continue knitting with white yarn until the end of the work.
Knit 1 round. row of RS, at the same time evenly reduce the number of loops to 88 – 92 – 96 – 104 – 108 – 112. Now make a higher cutout on the back using shortened rows as follows: knit RS 7 p. after the marker, turn, pull the thread and knit back IP 14 sts, turn, pull the thread and knit LP 21 sts. Continue knitting for 7 sts. stitch more after each turn, and a total of 70 - 70 - 70 - 84 - 84 - 84 stitches should be knitted from the last turn. Turn and knit 1 round. row of LP on all loops to the middle of the back.
Collar. Switch to circular needles No. 3. Knit 1 round. row of LP, at the same time evenly add 16 – 16 – 16 – 12 – 12 – 12 sts = 104 – 108 – 112 – 116 – 120 – 124 sts.
