Basic pattern and knitting pattern

Rib pattern in rows: *K2, P2*, repeat *– *.

In the purl row, knit with knit and purl.

Front stitch in rows: knit all loops on the front side and purl all loops on the purl row.

Openwork pattern: knit according to the pattern and instructions.

Density 27 stockinette stitch = 10 cm, 28.5 lace stitch = 10 cm (pattern repeat on stitch 23 is approx. 8 cm)

Cast on 138 (162) 182 sts on the back and start the rib pattern with k2 on the purl row.

We knit with an elastic band of 3 cm.

Knit in stockinette stitch and evenly add 0(0)2 stitches in the first row = 138(162)184 stitches. When the height of the product is 8(8)9 cm, add 1 stitch to each edge in the next row from the right side.

Increase 1 stitch from the edge, picking up the thread from the bottom row and knitting.

Work increases every 6.5(6.5)7 cm 3 more times = 146(170)192 sts.

Attention.

At a product height of 23 (20.5) 23.5 cm, mark the middle 6 stitches and start with the first strip of the openwork pattern according to the pattern in the 1st row on each side of the marked 6 stitches as follows: knit up to 23 stitches from the front side forward marked stitch, knit repeat pattern of 23 stitches, knit marked 6 stitches, knit repeat pattern of 23 stitches and knit remaining row to end.

Along both edges and in the middle, 6 stitches in stocking stitch and knit in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

Start with the second strip of the openwork pattern according to pattern P 1: in the front part, knit all sts up to 23 sts before the first openwork pattern (i.e. 6 marked loops with the front stitch, repeat the front pattern for 23 loops twice and knit the row to the end.

Along both edges and in the middle, 6 stitches in stocking stitch and knit in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

Attention. At a product height of 33 (35) 38 cm, make marks for the armholes on both edges, for example, with a thread of a different color.

When the height of the armholes is 19 (21) 22 cm, for the shoulder on both edges in each 2nd row 2 x 7 and 4 x 8 (4 x 9 and 2 x 10) 5 x 11 loops and bind off. 1 x 12 p.

Attention. At an armhole height of 21 (23) 24 cm, close off the middle 42 (46) 46 stitches for the neckline and knit the shoulders to the end in order.

Continue decreasing for shoulder and cast off 3 x 2 sts at neckline every other row.

We knit the second shoulder in the same way.

Cast on 67(79)90 sts on the left front and start the rib in the back row with P1, K2 (P1, K2) K2, then *P2, K2*, * – * repeat until the end of the row. cm, and then knit in stocking stitch with all the loops.

When the knitted piece reaches a height of 8 (8) 9 cm, in the next row on the right side, add 1 loop along the right edge.

Repeat increments every 6.5(6.5)7 cm 3 more times = 71(83)94 sts.

Attention. At a product height of 23 (20.5) 23.5 cm, start with the first strip of the openwork pattern according to the pattern in the 1st row: knit from the front side until 24 stitches remain in the row, repeat the front pattern on 23 loops and 1st r.

Work in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows and work all stitches along the edge and 1 stitch along the front edge in stockinette stitch.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

Start with the second stripe of the openwork pattern according to the pattern in the 1st row: knit from the front side until 47 stitches remain in the row, repeat the front pattern over 23 stitches twice and knit 1 stitch.

Work in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows and work all stitches along the edge and 1 stitch along the front edge in stockinette stitch.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

Start with the third stripe of the openwork pattern according to the pattern in the 1st row: knit from the front side until 70 stitches remain in the row, repeat the front pattern over 23 stitches three times and knit 1 stitch.

Work in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows and work all stitches along the edge and 1 stitch along the front edge in stockinette stitch.

Knit in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows in stockinette stitch along both edges.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

Attention. At a product height of 33 (35) 38 cm, make a mark for the armhole along the right edge, for example, with a thread of a different color.

At an armhole height of 12 (14) 15 cm, knit the next row from the front side until 13 (15) 15 stitches remain in the row, and put them aside for cutting the neckline, for example, on a stitch holder.

Cast off 2 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 sts in every other row along the neckline.

Attention. With an armhole height of 19 (21) 22 cm for the shoulder on the right edge in every 2nd row 2 x 7 sts and 4 x 8 sts (4 x 9 sts and 2 x 10 sts) 5 x 11 sts and knit 1 x 12 Art.

Right shelf Start the rib on the wrong side of knit 1 and knit the right front in a mirror image of the left front.

Sleeves

Cast on 74(76)78 sts for sleeves and knit with 6 cm rib.

Start the openwork pattern from the middle of the product according to the pattern in the 1st row: knit 14 (15) 16, repeat the knit pattern over 23 loops twice and knit 14 (15) 16.

Knit on both edges in stockinette stitch and knit in an openwork pattern after 2-8 rows.

Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with all stitches.

At a height of 47(49)50 cm on both edges in each 2nd row 0(2)2 x 6 p., 2(0)2 x 5 p., 2(3)1 x 4 p. and 4 p. (3) cast off 3 x 3 sts.

Close the remaining sts.

We knit the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly.

Lay the knitted items wrong side up on the mat, dampen and let dry.

Close shoulder seams.

Neck: cast on the loops on circular knitting needles and use the working thread to cast on additional loops along the neckline, a total of 140 (144) 144 loops.

The number of loops should be divided by 4.

Start ribbing the purl row: p1, k2, *p2, k2*, repeat *– * and p1.

At an elastic height of 2.5 cm, bind off all the loops according to the pattern.

Button placket: Cast on stitches from the outside along the front edge of the left front, always casting on 3 stitches every 4 stitches.

The number of loops should be divided by 4.

Start ribbing on a purl row: p3, k2, *p2, k2*, repeat * – * and p3.

At a bar height of 2.5 cm, close all the loops according to the pattern.

Make button markers in the already knitted button placket: the top button should be 1.5 cm from the top edge, the bottom button about 2 cm from the bottom edge, and the remaining 6 (7) 7 buttons evenly between them.

Knit the corresponding button placket on the right front and make loops in the marked places when the button placket is 1 cm high.

A loop: Knit 2 together and make 1 yarn over on the needle.

Sew the sleeves to the armholes.

Close the sleeve seams and side seams.

Sew on the buttons.
