Patterns for knitting coats
Facial surface. Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Houndstooth pattern. The number of loops is a multiple of 8 + 2 edge loops. Knit according to the counted pattern in stockinette stitch using the Norwegian technique, while freely pulling the non-working thread on the wrong side of the work. The diagram shows only the front rows; In the purl rows, knit all the loops with the purl threads of the colors of the previous row. Start with a loop in front of the right arrow, repeat the rapport between the arrows and finish with a loop after the left arrow. Constantly repeat 1-8th r.
Knitting density: 23 p. x 19.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Description of knitting coat
Back. Using a silver-gray thread, cast on 130 (146) 162 sts and knit 1 purl. R. purl. This series is not taken into account in further calculations. Then continue working with the “Houndstooth” pattern.
For armholes after 77 cm = 150 rub. from the initial row on both sides, close 1 time, 6 p. and in every 2nd p. 2 more times for 4 p., 1 time for 3 p., 2 times for 2 p. and 3 times for 1 p. = 82 (98) 114 p.
For shoulder bevels after 97.5 cm = 190 RUR. (99.5 cm = 194 rub.) 101.5 cm = 198 rub. from the initial row on both sides, first close 1 time for 1 (3) 4 p., and then in every 2nd r. 1 more time for 2 sts, 1 time for 3 sts, 1 time for 4 sts, 1 time for 5 sts and 1 time for 6 sts (1 time for 3 sts, 1 time for 4 sts, 1 time for 5 sts, 1 time for 6 sts and 1 time for 8 sts) 1 time for 4 sts, 1 time for 5 sts, 1 time for 6 sts, 1 time for 7 sts and 1 times 11 p.
At the same time for the neck after 101.5 cm = 198 r. (103.5 cm = 202 rub.) 105.5 cm = 206 rub. From the cast-on edge, close off the middle 38 stitches and finish both sides separately.
To round the cutout from the inner edge in the next 2nd r. close 1 time 1 p. Finish the second side symmetrically.
Left shelf. Using a silver-gray thread, cast on 66 (74) 82 sts on the knitting needles and knit 1 purl. R. purl. This series is not taken into account in further calculations. Then continue working with the “Houndstooth” pattern. For an armhole after 77 cm = 150 RUR. from the initial row on the right edge, first close 1 time 6 p. and in every 2nd p. 2 more times for 4 p., 1 time for 3 p., 2 times for 2 p. and 3 times for 1 p. = 42 (50) 58 p.
For the neck after 94.5 cm = 184 r. (96.5 cm = 188 rub.) 98.5 cm = 192 rub. from the initial row on the left edge close 1 time 8 p. and in every 2nd p. 1 more time 4 p., 4 times 2 p. and 1 time 1 p. At the same time for the shoulder bevel from the right edge after 99.5 cm = 194 r. (101.5 cm = 198 rub.) 103.5 cm = 202 rub. from the initial row, first close 1 time 1 (3) 4 p. and in every 2nd p. 1 more time 2 p., 1 time 3 p., 1 time 4 p., 1 time 5 p. and 1 time 6 p. (1 time 3 p., 1 time 4 p., 1 time 5 p., 1 times 6 p. and 1 time 8 p.) 1 time 4 p., 1 time 5 p., 1 time 6 p., 1 time 7 p. and 1 time 11 p.
Right shelf. Knit symmetrically to the left front.
Sleeves. Using a silver-gray thread on knitting needles, cast on 74 (82) 90 stitches for each sleeve and knit 1 purl. R. purl. This series is not taken into account in further calculations. Then continue working with the “Houndstooth” pattern. For bevels on both sides, add 3 (5) 3 times in every 10th r. and 5 (3) 6 times in every 8th r. 1 p. each = 90 (98) 108 p. For sleeve roll after 40 cm = 78 r. (42 cm = 82 r.) 44 cm = 86 r. from the initial row on both sides, close 1 time, 3 p. and in every 2nd p. 2 times for 2 p., 6 times for 1 p., 7 times for 2 p. and 1 time for 3 p.
After 57.5 cm = 112 r. (59.5 cm = 116 rub.) 61.5 cm = 120 rub. From the initial row, close off the remaining 30 (38) 48 sts.
Pocket (2 parts). Using a silver-gray thread on knitting needles, cast on 34 stitches for each pocket and knit 1 purl. R. purl. This series is not taken into account in further calculations. Then continue working with the “Houndstooth” pattern.
After 20.5 cm = 40 rub. From the initial row, close all loops with silver-gray thread.
Assembly. Sew the pockets to the shelves at a total height of approx. 32 cm and at a distance of 11 cm from the front edge so that the pattern matches. Sew shoulder seams. For the collar, along the edge of the neckline, cast on 82 stitches on circular needles using silver-gray thread, starting and ending at a distance of 3 cm from the front edge of the shelves. Next, knit with the “Houndstooth” pattern.
After 32 r. From the set, close all the loops.
Fold the collar in half inward and sew. Crochet the front edges of the shelves and the free edges of the neck, 3 cm wide, with a silver swarm of thread, 1 row, st. b/n and 1 nearby connection. Art.
Sew in the sleeves. Sew sleeve seams and side seams. Sew buttons at a height of approx. 37 cm, 535 (54.5) 55.5 cm and 70 (72) 74 cm.
