A jumper made using the intarsia technique has its own trump cards: a spectacular shaped yarn with a “sparkle” and a geometric pattern made in colors of similar tones.
DIMENSIONS 36—40, 42—46
YOU WILL NEED Defined yarn with thickened fragments (72% polyacryla, 15% sheep wool, 9% Alpaku wool, 3 polyester, 1% polyamide; 60 m/50 g) - 250 (350) anthracite, 200 (250) brown, 150 (200) g of beige and 100 (150) g sulfur; knitting needles No. 8 and 9.
PATTERNS AND DIAGRAMS
RUBBER
Knit (knitting needles No. 8) alternately knit 1, purl 1.
FACIAL SMOOTH
Knit (knitting needles No. 9): front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
PATTERN USING INTARSIA TECHNIQUE
Knit (knitting needles No. 9): knit in stockinette stitch according to the counting patterns given. The diagrams show the front rows. In purl rows, knit loops with thread of the same color.
The diagrams are given for sizes. 36-40.
For size 42-46 expand the outer colored areas by 2 sts on each side; for raglan bevels, knit 4 more r.
Knit each colored section from a separate ball. To prevent holes from forming when changing colors, cross the threads on the wrong side of the work and stretch it slightly.
PLANK PATTERN
Knit according to the pattern.
DECORATIVE REDUCTIONS
From the right edge = chrome, knit 1, 1 stitch, remove as in knitting, knit the next loop and pull through the removed loop;
from the left edge = 2 stitches, knit together, knit 1, chrome.
KNITTING DENSITY p. x 14 rub. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in stockinette stitch using needles No. 9 with a pattern using the intarsia technique.
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
Using anthracite thread on needles No. 8, cast on 55 (59) sts and knit for the bottom placket with an elastic band.
After 5 cm from the cast-on row, switch to needles No. 9 and continue working with the pattern using the intarsia technique according to the following. counting scheme.
After 40 (37) cm from the bottom bar, decrease (see Decorative decreases) on both sides for raglan bevels in each next 2nd r. 12 (14) times 1 p.
After 63 cm from the cast-on row, set aside the remaining 31 stitches.
BEFORE
Knit like a back.
SLEEVES
On needles No. 8, use anthracite thread to cast on 25 stitches and knit for the placket with an elastic band.
After 5 cm from the cast-on row, switch to needles No. 9 and continue working with the pattern using the intarsia technique according to the following. counting scheme.
After 14 (12) cm from the bar, add 1 p. on both sides for bevels, first 1 time, then in each next 6 p. 5 more times for 1 p. (in each next 4th row 7 more times for 1 p.) = 37 (41) p.
After 40 (37) cm from the bar, decrease (see Decorative decreases) on both sides to form an okat in each next 2nd row. 12 (14) times 1 p.
After 63 cm from the bar, set aside the remaining 13 stitches.
Knit the second sleeve in the same way.
ASSEMBLY
Pin the knitted parts onto the pattern, moisten and leave until dry. Sew raglan seams. Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
Transfer the delayed stitches to circular needles No. 8 = 88 sts and knit a collar in the round. The beginning of the circular row should be between the right sleeve and the back.
Perform 1 time from 1st to 10th r. according to schemes, while in the 1st r. distribute the loops as follows: 31 sts according to pattern 1, 13 sts according to pattern 2, 31 sts according to pattern 1, 13 sts according to pattern 2. In even rows of circular knitting, knit the loops according to the pattern. Skip empty cells in the diagram.
After 10 r. 48 stitches will remain on the needles
Then repeat the 11th row until the collar height is 14 cm. Then close the loops according to the drawing.
