You will need: 350 (350) 400 g bright turquoise yarn Pro Lana “Basic Cotton” (100% cotton; 125 m/50 g); knitting needles No. 3 and 3.5; 2 auxiliary knitting needles for braids; 2 buttons with a diameter of 15 mm.

Knitting technique.
Rubber: alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.
Facial surface: front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Patterned strip for 23 loops: knit according to pattern 1, which shows the front rows. In purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern, knit stitches crossed - purl stitches crossed. Knit widthwise once on the given 23 stitches in the pattern. In height, perform 1 time from the 1st to the 42nd row, then repeat from the 23rd to 42nd row, then perform 1 time from the 43rd to 58th row and then repeat from the 55th to 58 -th row.
1 motif indicated in pattern 1, knit according to pattern 2.

Decorative reduction:
from the left edge = knit the last 5th and 4th stitches together;
from the right edge = knit the 4th and 5th loops together with a slant to the left (= slip 1 loop, as in knitting, knit the next loop and pull it through the removed loop).

Knitting density.
Stockinette stitch, knitting needles No. 3.5: 25 sts and 35 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Patterned strip for 23 loops, knitting needles No. 3.5 = 9 cm wide.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Back: on knitting needles No. 3, cast on 107 (117) 127 loops and for the bottom bar, first knit 1 purl row as follows: edge, 41 (46) 51 loops with an elastic band, 23 purls, 41 (46) 51 loops with an elastic band, edge. Then on the middle 23 loops knit a patterned strip, on 42 (47) 52 loops on both sides of it continue knitting as before. After 3 cm = 11 rows from the beginning of the bottom bar, switch to knitting needles No. 3.5 and continue working, while on the outer 41 (46) 51 loops after/before the edge knit in stockinette stitch, on the middle 23 loops continue to perform a patterned stripe. In the 9th row from the bottom bar, start decreasing for the side bevels: knit the first 2 loops after the edge together with a tilt to the left, knit the last 2 loops before the edge together. Repeat these decreases 6 more times in every 6th row = 93 (103) 113 loops. After 23 cm = 80 rows from the bottom bar, add 1 loop for bevels after and before the edge, knitting it from the broach with the front crossed. Repeat these increases 4 more times in every 8th row = 103 (113) 123 loops. After 33 cm = 116 rows from the bottom bar, close on both sides for the armholes 1 time for 5 (5) 6 loops, then in each next front row decoratively decrease 26 (30) 33 times for 1 loop from the right and left edges. At the same time, after 13 cm = 46 rows (15 cm = 52 rows) 17 cm = 60 rows from the beginning of the armholes, close the middle 23 (25) 27 loops for the neckline and then knit both sides separately. To round the neckline, close from the inner edge in every 2nd row 1 time 3 stitches, 1 time 2 stitches and 1 time 1 stitch. Close the remaining 3 loops after the last decrease.

Before: knit like a back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, after 11 cm = 38 rows (13 cm = 46 rows) 15 cm = 52 rows from the beginning of the armholes, close the middle 17 (19) 21 loops and then knit both sides separately. To round the neck, close from the inner edge in every 2nd row 1 time 3 stitches, 1 time 2 stitches and another 4 times 1 stitch each. Close the remaining 3 loops after the last decrease.

Assembly: moisten the parts, stretch them to size, pin them onto the pattern, and leave until dry. Sew side seams. Using knitting needles No. 3, cast on 43 (45) 47 stitches along the edge of the back neckline and knit 2 cm for the binding with an elastic band, then close the loops according to the pattern. Along the edge of the front neckline, cast on 47 (49) 51 loops and tie the binding in the same way. Using knitting needles No. 3, cast on 7 stitches for the right armhole strap and 84 (94) 104 stitches along the edge of the right armhole, then another 14 stitches for the strap. On all 105 (115) 125 loops, knit a placket with an elastic band. In the 4th row (= front row) for the button hole, knit the 2nd and 3rd loops together and make 1 yarn over. After 2 cm from the beginning of the strap, close the loops according to the drawing. Knit the left armhole bar in the same way. Sew buttons.
