DESCRIPTION OF WORK
BACK
On needles No. 4, cast on 74 (78:84:90:98) sts and knit 4 cm with an elastic band.
Switch to needles No. 5 and continue knitting in stockinette stitch, adding 1 p. 1 p. 75 (79:85:91:99) p.
ARMHOLES
After 36 cm from the initial row, close 1 x 3 stitches for the armholes on both sides, then in each next 2nd row. 1 x2p. and 1 x 1 p. = 63 (67:73:79:87) p.
SHOULDER AND NECK
After 55 (56:57:58:59) stitches of the initial row, close off 1 x 4 (5:6:7:8) stitches for the shoulder bevels on both sides, then in each next 2 stitches. 2 (1:—) x 5 p., – (1:1:-:-) x6 p. – (-1:2:) x7 p. – (—1) x8 p. and -(:-1) x9 p.
Simultaneously with the 1st decrease for the shoulders, close off the middle 17 (17:17: 19:19) stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the inner edge, close in the next 2nd row. 1 x 9 p.
BEFORE
On needles No. 4, cast on 74 (78:84:90:98) sts and knit 4 cm with an elastic band.
Switch to needles No. 5 and continue knitting in stockinette stitch, but in the 1st row. add 1 p. = 75 (79:85:91:99) p.
Attention: After 30 cm from the starting row, continue knitting with a fantasy pattern (see diagram).
ARMHOLES
After 36 cm from the initial row, close 1 x 3 stitches for the armholes on both sides, then in each next 2nd row. 1 x 2 p. and 1 x 1 p. = 63 (67:73:79:87) p.
NECK
After 48 (49:50:51:52) cm from the beginning row, bind off the middle 17 (17:17:19:19) stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the inner edge, close each next 2-m. 1 x3 p., 2 x2 p., in the next 4-st. 1 x 1 p. and in the next 6 p. 1 x 1 p.
SHOULDER SHADES
After 55 (56:57:58:59) cm of the initial row, close for shoulder bevels from the side of the armhole 1 4 (5:6:7:8) p., then in every next 2 r. 2 (1:-::-) x 5 p., – (1:1::-) x 6 p., – (-1:2:-) x 7 p., – (:-::1) x 8 p. and -(1) x9 p.
SLEEVES
Using knitting needles No. 4, cast on 38 (42:44:48:50) stitches for each sleeve and knit 4 cm with an elastic band.
Switch to needles No. 5 and continue knitting in stockinette stitch, evenly increasing in 1-st. 8 (6:8:6:8) sts = 46 (48:52:54:58) sts. For bevels, add on both sides in the next 16th p. 1 (:-:-:-:-) x1 p., in each next 14-st. 5 (6:6:5:3) x 1 p. and in every next 12 p. – (—1:3) x 1 p. = 58 (60:64:66:70) p.

ROLL SLEEVE
After 46 (45.5:44.5:43.5:41.5) cm from the starting row, cast off 1 x 4 (4:4:4:5) stitches on both sides, then in each next 2- m r. – (:1:1:1) x 4 p., 1 (2:1:1:1) x3 p., 4 (3:2:2:2) x 2 p., 1 (1:2:1 :1) x 3 p., 1 (1:1:2:1) x 4 p. and -(-:–1) x5 p.
Cast off remaining 14 sts.
NECK TRIM
On needles No. 4, cast on 96 (96:96:100: 100) sts and knit 2.5 cm with an elastic band, then knit 1 r. (= knit row) knit and then knit several rows in knit stitch with a thread of a different color.
ASSEMBLY
Sew shoulder and side seams, sleeve seams.
Sew the sleeves into the armholes.
Sew the open loops of the binding with a “back needle” seam along the edge of the neckline on the front side of the product.
