This beautiful blue pullover is knitted using size 8 knitting needles using a combination of openwork “Leaves”, a pearl pattern and “Braids” from wool blend yarn.

You will need: yarn (50% natural wool, 50% polyacrylic; 55 m/50 g) - 750 (800) 850 g blue; knitting needles No. 7 and 8; circular knitting needles No. 7; hook No. 7.
Rubber. Rows in forward and reverse directions (odd number of loops). Front rows: edge, alternately 1 purl, 1 front, finish with 1 purl, edge.
Purl rows: edge, alternately 1 knit, 1 purl, finish with 1 knit, edge. Circular rows (even number of loops) = alternately 1 front, 1 purl.
Large pearl pattern. Odd number of loops. 1st row: alternately knit 1, purl 1, finish with knit 1. 2nd and 4th rows: knit loops according to the pattern. 3rd row: alternately purl 1, knit 1, finish with purl 1. Constantly repeat 1-4th r.

Attention: the number of loops is reduced in the 3rd row of the pattern to 23 loops and in the 11th row of the pattern increases again to 25 stitches. Description of knitting
Back. On knitting needles No. 7, cast on 59 (63) 67 stitches and for the placket, starting with 1 purl row, knit 7 cm = 2 rows with knit stitches and 9 rows with an elastic band.
Continue working on size 8 needles with a large pearl pattern. After 60 cm = 96 rows from the bar, close off for the shoulder bevel on both sides 1 x 2 (3) 3 p., then in every 2nd row close off 1 x 2 p. and 4 x 3 p. (5 x 3 p. ) 3 x 3 sts and 2 x 4 sts. After 67.5 cm = 108 rows from the bar, close off the remaining 27 sts for the neckline.
Before. On knitting needles No. 7, cast on 59 (63) 67 loops and knit the bar as on the back, but in the last purl row on the middle 47 loops, evenly distributed, add 10 sts = 69 (73) 77 sts. Continue work on needles No. 8 with a large pearl pattern. After 39 cm = 62 rows from the bar, bind off all the loops.
Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. For the stand-up collar, cast on the remaining 29 stitches for the back neckline on circular knitting needles, cast on another 29 stitches along the edge of the back neckline and knit on all 58 stitches as follows: 9 circular rows with rib, 1 circular row with knit, 1 circular row with purl. Then bind off the stitches like purl stitches.
Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams. Tie the bottom edge of the pullover, the edges of the sleeves and the edge of the stand-up collar with 1 circular row of crocheted loops.
