This casual pullover is knitted with an intricate braid pattern in the form of an openwork lattice made of wool yarn and cashmere.
Dimensions: 32/34 (38) 42/44.
You will need: yarn (90% sheep wool, 10% Kashmir wool; 160 m/50 g) - 400 (450) 500 g grey-beige; knitting needles No. 3 and 3.5; hook No. 3.5.
Facial surface. Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Openwork pattern with “braids”. The number of loops is a multiple of 20 + 16 sts. Knit according to the pattern. It shows only the front rows. In purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern, knit yarn overs purl. Start with loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat constantly, finish with loops after the repeat. From 1st to 24th r. repeat constantly.
Knitting density:
30.5 p. x 31 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern with “braids”;
25 p. x 31 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in stockinette stitch.
Description of knitting
Back. On knitting needles No. 3, cast on 126 (144) 164 sts and knit the purl row with knit stitches. This series is not taken into account in further calculations.
Then switch to knitting needles No. 3.5 and continue knitting, distributing the pattern loops as follows: edge stitch, 4 (3) 3 stitches in stockinette stitch, 116 (136) 156 stitches in openwork pattern with “braids”, 4 (3) 3 stitches . front satin stitch and edge stitch.
After 54 cm = 168 r. (56 cm = 174 rub.) 58 cm = 180 rub. from the initial row close all the loops, with the middle 78 (82) 86 sts forming the neck, the outer 24 (31) 39 sts forming the shoulders.
Before. Knit like a back.
Sleeves. Using knitting needles No. 3, cast on 66 (74) 82 stitches for each sleeve and knit the purl row with knit stitches.
Then switch to needles No. 3.5 and continue knitting, distributing the pattern loops as follows: edge stitch, 14 (18) 22 stitches in stockinette stitch, 36 stitches in openwork pattern with “braids”, 14 (18) 22 stitches in stockinette stitch and edge
For sleeve bevels after 23 cm = 72 r. from the initial row on both sides, add 1 p., then 10 times in every 6th r. and 2 times every 4th r. (8 times in every 6th r. and 5 times in every 4th r.) 6 times in every 6th r. and 8 times every 4th r. 1 p. of front stitch = 92 (102) 112 p.
After 46.5 cm = 144 rubles. Close all loops from the bar.
Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. Crochet the neckline with 1 round row of “crawfish step” (= st. b/n knit from left to right). Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
