This soft and fluffy turtleneck sweater is knitted in an openwork diamond pattern from mohair and apricot silk.

You will need: yarn (75% mohair, 25% silk; 225 m/25 g) - 125 (150) 175 g apricot; knitting needles No. 3.5 and 4; circular knitting needles No. 3.5.
Pattern 1: rib = rows in forward and reverse directions (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 2 edge loops). Each row begins and ends with 1 edge.
Front rows: * 1 front, 2 purl, 1 front, from * constantly repeat. Purl rows: knit loops according to the pattern.
Circular rows (number of loops is a multiple of 4) = alternately knit 2, purl 2.
Pattern 2: front stitch = front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Pattern 3: pattern of openwork rhombuses (the number of loops is a multiple of 18 + 1) = knit according to. scheme. It shows facial rows. In purl rows, purl all loops and yarn overs. Start with loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat constantly, finish with loops after the repeat. Constantly repeat rows 1-24.
Average knitting density: 20.5 p. x 30.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Description of knitting
Back: on knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 94 (102) 110 stitches and for the placket, knit 6 cm with pattern 1, while finishing with 1 purl row and in this purl row, evenly distributed, add 29 sts = 123 (131) 139 sts. Continue working on knitting needles No. 4 as follows: edge stitch, 6 (1) 5 stitches with pattern 2, 109 (127) 127 stitches with pattern 3, 6 (1) 5 stitches with pattern 2, edge stitch. After 46 cm = 140 rows (48 cm = 146 rows) 50 cm = 152 rows from the bar, close the middle 43 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round along the inner edge, cast off 1 x 5 stitches in the next 2nd row.
After 47 cm = 144 rows (49 cm = 150 rows) 51 cm = 156 rows from the bar, close off the remaining 35 (39) 43 stitches of the shoulders.
Before: knit like a back, but for a deeper neckline after 38 cm = 116 rows (40 cm = 122 rows) 42 cm = 128 rows from the bar, close the middle 33 stitches, then close 1 x along the inner edge in every 2nd row 3 p., 1 x 2 p. and 5 x 1 p.
Sleeves: cast on 3.5 needles for each sleeve with 46 (50) 54 stitches and knit the placket as on the back, while in the last purl row, evenly distributed, add 35 (37) 39 sts = 81 (87) 93 sts Continue working on needles No. 4 as follows: edge stitch, 3 (6) 9 stitches with pattern 2, 73 stitches with pattern 3, 3 (6) 9 stitches with pattern 2, edge stitch.
After 34 cm = 104 rows from the bar, bind off all the loops.
Assembly: sew shoulder seams.
For the collar, cast on 96 stitches on circular needles along the edge of the neckline and knit with pattern 1 in circular rows.
After 15 cm from the beginning of knitting the collar, close all the loops and hem the collar halfway inside.
Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
