You will need: yarn (40% viscose, 30% cotton, 20% linen, 10% polyamide; 125 m/50 g) - 350 (350–400–400) g dark gray; knitting needles No. 4.5; circular knitting needles No. 4.5, length 40 cm.

Patterns

Openwork pattern A

Knit according to pattern A. Repeat the repeat of 16 stitches across the width between the arrows. Perform in height 2 times from the 1st to the 32nd row, 1 time from the 65th to the 76th row, 2 times from the 77th to the 92nd row. and 1 more time from 77th to 80th r. = 112 rows in total.

Openwork pattern B

Knit according to pattern B. In width, start with 13 sts before the right arrow, repeat the repeat of 8 sts between the arrows, end 12 sts after the left arrow. Repeat in height from the 1st to the 16th row.

Knitting density 26.5 p. x 32 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern.

Attention! The product is knitted in the round from the bottom edge to the armholes.

Completing of the work

Using a double thread, cast on 224 (256–288–320) stitches crossed and knit in the round with openwork pattern A.

Use markers to mark the lines of the side seams: at the beginning of the circular row and in the middle = 112 (128–144–160) stitches each for the front and back.

After 35 cm = 112 r. from the cast-on row at the beginning of the row, bind off 7 sts for the first armhole, knit 97 (113–129–145) sts, then bind off the next 15 sts for the second armhole, knit 97 (113–129–145) sts and at the end row, close off another 8 stitches for the first armhole.

First, at 97 (113–129–145) sts, finish the front.

Knit in rows in forward and reverse directions using openwork pattern B.

Openwork pattern B continues openwork pattern A from row 81, but is knitted in rows in forward and reverse directions (first and last stitches = edge stitches).

After 20 (22–24–26) cm = 64 (70–76–84) r. from the beginning of the armhole, close on both sides for the shoulders 1 time 11 (19–27–35) sts and leave the remaining 75 sts temporarily.

Finish the back in the same way.

Assembly

Sew shoulder seams.

For a stand-up collar, transfer the remaining stitches to circular needles = 75 sts each for front and back = 150 sts. Beginning of the circular row = one of the shoulder seams. Knit in the round with openwork pattern A, starting with 81 (83–77–85) rows, while in the 1st row. decrease loops: * knit 3 sts together according to the drawing (= 2 sts decreased), knit 70 sts, knit 2 sts together according to the drawing (= 1 st decreased), from * repeat 2 times = 144 sts. After 3 cm = 10 rub. From the beginning of the stand-up collar, close the loops as follows: using knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on new 4 sts.

1st row (= knit row), knit 3, knit the last loop with the next loop together;

2nd row (= purl row): slip 1 stitch (thread before work), purl 3.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until all stitches are cast off, then cast off remaining 4 sts.

Make a small seam, for which sew 4 additionally cast-on loops with the remaining 4 loops.
